Inspired by John Singer Sargent's original salon entry of Madame X, my initial intention was for her to have a brightly colored parrot's head but after reading some history about this woman, I felt something predaceous was definitely in order. Sargent may have a hard time with the original being unable to sit still but mine was easy. All it took was a few scraps of meat. |
