Early Morning River Light

This is early spring at a bend in the Pawtuxet River, when the air is getting warm and the ground is still cold. The intense amount of light is caused by the rising sun shining through the moisture coming off the river just behind the stand of pines on the left. Oil on masonite, 12 x 16".
