Quetzalcoatlus sp.

Pterosaurs were prehistoric reptiles which had a wide range of feeding adaptations and held similar niches to birds. They were warm-blooded, active creatures with powerful flight muscles, hollow bones, and other birdlike features. In place of feathers, they sported fur and wing membranes. The largest of these was Quetzalcoatlus. It was the size of a small airplane, 20 ft. long with a wing span of 40 ft. across. Texas. Late Cretaceous. Piece created as part of an illustration portfolio of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals.
